In 2004 FALA created the Sid Rosenblatt Excellence in Leadership Award to honor Mr. Rosenblatt who has exemplified the phrase “Excellence in Leadership”. Mr. Rosenblatt has been an inspiration to his staff, his peers and to FALA members. His dedication is tireless and his efforts are always in the best interest of our profession.
This prestigious award is presented annually to an individual with outstanding leadership abilities. Each year as the circle grows the recipients of this award will select the next winner who is recognized every year at our Annual Conference.
Administrator of the Year Award
The Assisted Living Administrator of the Year Award is sponsored by FALA to recognize outstanding leadership in the assisted living community. Every year our members submit names of individuals that they feel demonstrate this quality. At FALA’s Annual Conference the recipient receives a beautiful plaque to hang in their community.
Legislator of the Year Award
FALA’s Legislator of the Year Award is given to an individual member of the Florida Legislature for their distinguished service and efforts on behalf of the assisted living profession.
